The second Uruguayan-style proposition from the El Paisito brand, produced by the renowned Brazilian company - Barao, which has been available on the Polish market for many years. Known mainly because of Chimarrao, but not in this particular case. 

The el Paisito Suave package contains mainly relatively finely cut holly leaves with a minimal amount of sticks or dust. Therefore, a mound will be welcome to avoid possible problems with subsequent flooding. 

As in the case of this type of varieties, we recommend that the first pouring be done with water at a lower temperature, i.e. about 40 degrees Celsius. Thanks to this, we will avoid too intense grassy accents and bitterness. The taste of el Paisito develops with subsequent pourings, the beginning is relatively mild. The taste is quite similar to the Traditional version. However, in this case, the bitterness seems to be milder and there is less astringency. The infusion itself has moderate intensity and astringency, slight bitterness, creaminess and sponge cake, nettle or tea accents. Moreover, somewhere far in the background, some of you will be able to detect a slight saltiness, often compared to the taste of umami.

Basically, it is not a heavy or smoky flavor composition, but an interestingly developed one, which will interest many lovers of the Uruguayan style. Without a doubt, it can be placed in line with the del Cebador, Sara or Canarias brands.

El Paisito Suave is a decent dose of stimulation and a guarantee of many hours of pleasant drinking, available in an economical package and at an affordable price. It can definitely be said that Barao has done very well with this new brand. We recommend!
