Taragui Its full-bodied flavor and just the right intensity represent the qualities of authentic yerba mate. Taragüi contains yerbas from the northern and central areas of the province of Misiones, from the countryside of northeastern Corrientes. The word "Taragüi" comes from the Guaraní language which means Corrientes, the province in northeast Argentina where the tea is produced. Today it is the leading yerba mate in the Argentinean market. Since 1924 it has been cultivated, harvested and produced by specialists of the Establecimiento Las Marias.
