"El Moncayo" is one of the Uruguayan's favourite mate tea brands. This type is called "compuesta", which means that it contains, along with the Yerba Mate without stems, a big variety of herbs and weeds that are typical for South America, for example: boldo and lemon verbena.

El Moncayo has a rather mild flavour but an intense aroma, thanks to its big variety of herbs. It is highly recommended for those who like mate tea with varied flavour and for those who want to try out something new.

Ingredients:

Yerba Mate, regional herbs and spices (Tilia, Boldo, Erigeron canadensis, Carqueja (Baccharis trimera), chamomile, Amlabaum (Phyllanthus sellowianus), Myrtle, mint, lemon verbena and Jodina rhombifolia)

Origin: Uruguay

Store in a cool and dry place.

Instructions for use:

Preparation in the French Press / Teapot: for 1 litre you take approx. 12g yerba mate and let it brew at 80 degrees for approx. 5 minutes.
